can a macular of the eye get better on its own without surgery?

Question: I have had two retinal tears in the same eye and have had surgery on them.
Answers:
I don't think it can get better, but lutein is supposed to be a good mineral for macular health.

Retinal tears will not heal on their own. If your eye doctor recommends surgery, go with it!
