at 25 what is the ideal weight of dumbels to start xcercise?

Answers:
I'd begin with a 5, do a set of 10. If this feels way to easy take small steps up, to 8, 10, 15 etc. Ideally you want a weight that you can perform 3-4 set of lifting without it being a strain but not being overly simple. You want your muscles to feel the weight, but not strain to lift and don't jerk your body to lift the weight either. AS the weight you settle on becomes easier take asmall step up and so on untill you can perform the new weight easily then step up. Just remember to take a day of rest between heavy resting days and think about a multi-vitamin to help your body recover and build your muscles strong

Start out at a low weight.3-5 pounds, maybe. Then, you can increase as you get stronger.
I started small at 3 pounds and after I got used to them, I went to 5 pounds. You should start lightly if you haven't used them so you don't hurt yourself.
It depends on your height and weight.
It really depends on how fit you are and what kind of excersizes you're doing. If you're an average-sized guy and out of shape, maybe start with a 8-10 pound set and go from there. If you're small or REALLY out of shape, i would start with 5 lbs.
i use 3 and 5 lb. weights, but sometimes have to add them to make 8 lb. weights.
