Experienced knuckle/leg tuening. Need help?

Question: My master wrapped a cut up tire around a tree in his back yard and kicked that about 300 times a day with each leg (he's a muay thai guy who fought for a school in thailand 30 years ago ). For his knuckles he filled a canvas bag full of sand, tied it to a sort of funky looking skinny chair which he set against a wall and that he made himself, and punched it repeatedly from a riding stance. Over the course of 32 years that sand bag turned just about rock hard.

Do not try this unless you are experienced, or you will hurt yourself.
