what disease causes people to see color instead of words?

Question: like when reading text? i cant remeber what its called but had something to do with the "pathway" or conection bettween your eyes and your brain. i think it had more to do with the brains inability to disipher properly the message the eyes were sending it.
i think i saw an aritcle on this in middle school.something about people seeing the letter "P" as the color tuquiose.. or something..
please help!

Can't think of the name, but I know what your talking about. Its in the category of neuroprocessing and visual perception disorders.That can make the text on paper look a different coller than its printed(black can shift to turquise or red)
