Train with free weights. They are cheaper than a gym membership. In addition to weight training to build muscle strength and endurance, you should also do aerobic exercise for aerobic endurance and stretching to keep those growing muscles flexible.

You can use dumbells at home. Chances of you wrecking your house with dumbells is not very great. They don't take up much room and you can buy them at Target, for example.
Likewise, they make a leg exercise "boot" that has a bar going through it that you can attach weights to and it has a clamp to hold them on. You sit on a chari and extend your leg, and do that a bunch of times.
As people suggest, you can also do the standard exercises - calesthenics: situps, knee-bends, push-ups. Those do not take up much space. If you buy those little strap-on weights for your wrists and ankles, that will increase the resistence.
You can also get chin-up bars that you can put in doorways. They go up towards the top of the frame.
You can also get those things they sell on TV commercials. The wheel thing that you hold while you are in a prone position and you pull it toward you and push it back. Spinning, on one of those spinning pads, probably works some of your muscles a little too.
Getting a Soloflex or one of those types of resisitence machines is pretty expensive but they do not take up much space and then you can give yourself a serious workout.
There are also step aerobics - you just have to buy the step and use it at home. Though aerobics are not going to build up a lot of mass. They will help your endurance some though, and that will help you work out longer/harder.
I just do pushups, and stomach exercises. I also do dips. You can do dips on two chairs. Just put them a little further then shoulder apart. Then put your hands on them and dont touch the floor. Start doing a push up on them. This works the chest. Then for the stomach, I do a special push up. I lay flat on the floor on my stomach. Then I prop my feet up into pushup position. I put my hands out there. I put them together so that they touch. Now I try to do a push up with them. This works the stomach really really fast. I do pushups for my arms. And then, before I go to sleep. I lay on my back on my bed or floor. I bend my knees. I reach my hands to rest them onto my knees. I dont hold onto my knees, just rest them. And I stay in this position for as long as I can. I do this twice before I sleep. Now, for legs, I do squats. For calves, I stand, and I lift my heels. First, you should start doing both legs at the same time. Hold onto a door if you have to. Sometimes people are not used to this. Then when my calves get stronger, I do them one at a time. I hold onto a door just in case. This should get you started. Eventually, you will get big. Just remember, 70% of working out is in your diet. I eat like 80% fruits and vegetables. This cuts the work out down but with the same results or better.
