The way I lost weight. Both times is to find what foods causes you to put on weiht and lower the intake plus excercise. As for me Carbs were putting my weiht on. Instead of low or no carb I reduced my carb intake and overtime lost weight.

To loose weight most important thing is to strengthen your will power. Then just do excercise to burn fat more than you consume. Drink lot of water and eat only when you feel hunger.
