(an example of someone with this is Andre the Giant, the WWE wrestler). However, if it occurs later in life, it can result in larger hands and feet. It is caused by tumor in the pituitary gland in the brain, which produces excess hgh, so therefore, no it is not fountain of youth!

no! anything that makes your cells proliferate (grow), such as a growth hormone, could also cause cancer, which is basically unchecked cell growth. our bodies have lots of mechanisms to protect us from such unchecked cell growth, but if we hit them with enough weird substances, all it takes is one cell to go out of control. and dying of cancer is the opposite of living forever.
