What are your thoughts on aromatherapy?

Question:
Any good websites or books on this subject would be great.

Answers:
The closest sense tied to memory is SMELL........

I don't know of any websites; but I do know that my neighbor saw me suffering with allergies and sinus discomfort.....She suggested I burn some ORGANIC LAVANDER OIL ( the more concentrate the better) she purchased from a health food store. Aaaaaaaahhhh.... what a relief it has been. Decreased sneezing and stuffiness without meds...GIVE THANX!

You will need to use a tart/ oil burner ( ceramic with tealight)

Other Answers:
they can change your mood.
I believe in it healing powers....like if you smell something that reminds you of a good place you were before where you smelled that same smell, it could change your attitude to a more positive perspective.
Not much.
Something smells 'fishy' about this practice...but, odors do have a marked impression upon the way one feels, as do colors we surround ourselves in, sounds...etc.
Personally, I think that one should be always open to newly exposed ideas regardless how 'off-beat' they may appear to be. Great wisdom may be found within some of the smallest places the mind whispers from...your ordinary existence transcends to extraordinary only when the super-natural is embraced; and it is in that journeying which, enlightens and brings forth truth.
I have been using Essential oils for about 13 years. I love aromatherapy. You can find good info by google.com. The best quality products I have found have been from Young Living, but they are more expensive than the products that you find in the health food stores(Aura Casia)
