Answers:
The first thing I would advise is to see your doctor. You didn't say how old you were, so I don't have much to base a theory on. Vitamin deficencies can cause muscle cramping, A visit to your physician and a simple blood test may be all you need to diagnose the problem. If it turns out to be a more chronic problem your doctor may suggest quinine sulfate, that you can buy OTC at WalMart, or he/she may diagnose you with restless leg syndrome. There is now a prescription medication on the market to treat this disorder. I would deffinately say a trip to the MD is in order. If you aren't sure what is going on, I wouldn't try to treat it without greater knowledge. If you are on a tight budget, check with your local health department. Most public health agencies have a staff physician that will see you on a sliding scale fee basis, meaning that they charge you based on your income, and there is usually a maximum amount that they can charge. If your local public health office doesn't provide this they know who will be able to help you. If you are a senior citizen, I strongly advise you to see your doc very soon, as vitiamin deficencies can indicate other problems, such as cardiac problems. Hope this helps. Cheers!!
do exercises and try to elevate your legs as high as u can
