Is there such a thing as a shaolin massage, and what is it?
Question:
Answers:
Never heard of it. There is Tui Na massage and that is based on the meridians and 5-element theory. I have had Tui Na of masters and it can be just as relaxing as it can be painful. It can also make my legs feel as if i am 18 again (i'm 41), and it can cure a migraine like no other pharmaceutical. But never has it made my body make a 'cracking' sound.
I know there is a massage that is aimed at martial art in the sense that it adresses the kicks and punches the body gets. But i'm not familiar with it as such.
An good osteopath has been known to make my back 'crack' before, and I do know of some eastern Mediteraneans that can twist your neck and make it 'crack'. But i wouldn't like to think how they got their training ..
if youve ever seen shaolin showdown , its a massage that beats you to death, but then you feel all good of the soul , but you never come back. Those are about $30 for ten minutes in GA
