When I was in the 5th grade.23 yrs ago..( I suddenly feel old!).lol..I straddled a rainbow shaped set of monkey bars..I was sent to the nurse then..all she did for me was give me an ice pack & had me lay down on the bed..she did call my Mom..
By the time I was taken to the emergency room.I was a solid bruise from one ankle up & then down again to the next ankle..basically, even then, the school nurses were not allowed to do more then what she did for me...
Now, I have kids in Elementary school..my son, being the 8 yr old boy that he is..walks around with his zipper down sometimes.mainly because it gets caught in the jeans at the bottom of the zipper.& I was told by the Teacher that No school official is allowed to go anywhere near the student genital area..at all.for any reason..I live in the US..we have had ALOT of cases of Teacher/Student descrepancies..no one wants to take the chance of being accused of anything...even if it means my son has to walk around all day with his zipper stuck.
