Any Med's out there that will counteract the sexual side effect of Paxil?

Question:
I have been on several antidepressents and can eat them like candy,, Wellbutrion, Lexapro etc.. paxil is the only one that really works but it declines your sexual appetite that can cause major problems with your spouse.. Is their any natural vitiamns or anything that can help with this.. it helps with my tolerence with my kids and I'm happier on this med but my husband hates it what should I do?? Also have been on Lactimal it doesn't work either..

Answers:
look at the sites below.even if you dont want to get off of them completely using the supplements that are used to get off of them will nearly erase the side effects and you will feel much better.

I was on 12 different antidepressants over 5 years. None of the worked. I tryed to stop taking them and found myself extremey addicted to them. Since they are supposidly non- addictive i went cold turkey with my doctors permission. I went through extreme withdrawl compaired to meth and cocaine withdrwl and had to go back on them..i did what these websites say and i was able to get off of them with no withdrwl or side effects and i am good as new.

#1) The world is a funny place. Don't try to please everybody. You can't.

#2) Paxil causes health problems, and doesn't address the chemical imbalance, it only serves to keep the amount of serotonin in your brain that is already there. If it works for you, fine, but weigh the cons.

#3) See if any of these will help you. I don't know what RX plan you have, but these won't be covered. I know they help for me, so I have bought them anyway.

Try:
GABA - 100 mg at night - build to 200 safely if no results with 100. This should produce a relaxing effect.

or
Suntheanine (extract chemical of green tea) - 100 mg (AM and/or mid afternoon) This will help with day stress.

or
5-HTP - 100 mg (AM and mid afternoon) This will boost serotonin.

or a combination.

In my opinion, doctors are too ready to hand out drugs for 'mental health'. The concern you have is that you are worn out. Your reserves are taxed. Your patience is limited.

Try, try, to get 5 minutes every day to relax, listen to music, turn your attention inward with meditation, walk (even if its just around the house or have a neighbor watch your kids while you take a 5 minuter walk around the block)

Find people in your church or social organization who are willing to offer their time to baby sit. This is especially helpful if you are short on finances.

I will keep your family in my prayer,
Cheryl
