There are so many home remedies for Hypertension. Blood pressure is because of fire element in our body. Stress leads to formation of chemicals which increase the fire elements (free toxic radicals) which cause constriction and hardening of our arteries, damage to their interenal walls leading to blood pressure and ultimately blockage of arteries. The best herbal remedy is AMLA Juice- Pure Indian Gooseberry Juice and Gourd Juice. Drink Gourd Juice every morning empty stomch alongwith ALoe vera juice or Amla juice twice daily, 6 am and 6 pm. Avoid Curd, fried items, spices and chillies, salt, ginger and garlic are not good for blood pressure. Choclate, ice cream, pizzas, noodles, burgers are not good. Use vegetables and salads as much as possible. Apples are another very useful herbal remedy, particularly apple seeds. Dry them and use their powder every day. You can also try some herbal products. I do not agree with the conventional way of " Managing " blood pressure by prescription drugs like beta blockers, channel inhibitors. They are just temporary solution to the problem. The true solution is the change in diet and life style. The herbals should be taken under the supervision of a herbalist only.
Other Answers:
Despite the risk of side-effects associated with traditional medicines that your doctor can prescribe for you, these medicines have a clear track record for helping to manage hypertension. Alternative medicines have a much murkier record of efficacy. They should never be substituted for anything you doctor has prescribed. And, you should always consult your doctor before adding an alternative supplement that may interact with your prescribed medicines and interfere with their utility. Consult your doctor for more information.
There are indeed several, but hon, they don't work. They really don't, and on top of that, some of 'em are actually toxic, especially when mixed with other "alternatives". Please don't risk your life messing with herbals.
