What organisms are present in a healthy bowel?

Question: I'm trying to get my cats to have firmer stools. Nothing is working that is in the norm, like strongid, albon, antibiotics, or immodium, changing to better food or to dry or wet food. In the past i noticed a modest improvement if i disinfected the water bowl daily (like it gave them too much bacteria from their fellow kitty's mouths). I've started giving brewer's yeast which seems to help the kittens that i foster, but not my grown cats. So what besides bacteria and yeast live in a healthy bowel?
