does AloeVera help arthritis if taken internally?

Question:
I have seen claims it does wonders - but Mayo Clinic report says it is used as a laxative
Has anyone had experience with it?

Answers:
I have used Aloe Vera juice and it did absolutely nothing for me I bought two bottles of the damb stuff and not only was it a horrid thing to take but it was expensive as well. As to arthritis it cannot be of any use what so ever for that - my trouble was gut related but it was a waste of money.

I think you are better off taking omega - 3 or omega - 6 (fishoil) instead.
Don't eat it. They add a lot of stuff to it now days.
I have not had experience with Aloe Vera, but have with other natural products for arthritis. There are several alone and together that work wonders, do you want long term and/or quick relief. If you would like to know more about what we use please email me at kehrlyfamily@yahoo.com
You should direct your important health question to your doctor. He/she can determine how to best help you. Aloe Vera is a hot topic in medicine today but it must be used discrimately and with caution when ingesting it, as all non food items must. Some things interact with meds already being taken and only your doctor can tell you if it will be safe for you.

Personal experience~
Aloe Vera works as laxative also. It can be used as a tonic and cleanser for all kinds of disorders. Aloe Vera can be taken internally and it is an antioxidant. There is no known history of Aloe Vera helping to relieve Arthritis pain. The main benefits of this product is that it cleanses your system and once the system get cleaned, the body becomes lighter and one feels energetic. There is no harm adding Aloe Vera in your medication but it should not a waste of money.

I wouldn't think so. It's mainly used internally for gastro intestional problems

I would try the herb turmeric, a natural antiinflammatory, liver detoxer etc, and if you don't have HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, take locorice root caps with it. If you do have HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, you should be able to take DGL INSTEAD OF LICORICE ROOT. These are nature's steroids and aid in liver function and inflammation. Sometimes just detoxing the liver gives relief from arthritis. Pls google and read more.

Vitamin C and Magnesium also help many times. If you have a sensitive stomach or acid reflux, try ESTER C, the non acidic vitamin C. Adjust the dose to where you feel some relief, but I wouldn't take more than 500 mg of Magnesium daily since it may cause diaherrea in higher doses.
