Is there any connection betw a Baker's Cyst & Fungal Infection?
Question:
Answers:
A Baker's Cyst is a synovial fluid collection behind your knee - it is not a cyst. It collects there because there was a weakness in the ligament and the fluid pooled there.
I have never heard of any causation between this pseudo-cyst and a fungal infection.
