Lucid dreams may not necessarily be more valid than your less colorful ones...though it may appear so because they tend to stay longer in the mind after awakening.
The generally accepted belief regarding dream interpretation is that 'many' dreams hold a message which is usually presented in a somewhat 'abstract' form...They are filled with symbolism of which the interpreter must recognize and decipher in order to achieve a positive response.
All dreams are 'valid' in some sense of the word...they help us to understand our inner selves...

Hmm don't think so. I do enjoy my dreams, probably because dreams bring the unexpected so very often to me and keep the hopes of a better tomorrow.
