Find out things in your environment that stop or start episodes of increased problems. My son had to give up corn, sugar, white flour & wheat. This takes alot of work and you need to see an allergist & immunology Doctor. To help determine if there are enviromental causes. First, find out your blood type. Next get the book "Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type." You probably are eating things that you are intolerant of. The biggies are Wheat, (bread, pasta, crackers pizza etc.) Corn (it is hidden in almost every food we purchase) and Dairy.
Also be aware of the colors of the foods you eat, the clothes you wear and your environment.
Red, yellow and orange will stimulate you, green, blue (fish & chicken are considered blue foods) and purple will calm you. (Example,eat a green apple rather thana red one. The nutrients are different.)
