Why are there so many unsafe medicines on the market these days?

Question:

It seems everytime you turn around they are recalling mediciations sold over the counter. Is there a reason they passed the tests and are now being recalled?

Answers:
All medications are chemicals. Many of them have more side effects than they have actions on the medical conditions they were prescribed to alleviate. Because of litigation, no drug manufacturer deliberately produces a dangerous medication. It simply happens because the FDA cannot test long enough.

Money

Medications are not an exact science. They are trial and error like everything. And we as a society can not have thing both ways either we are okay with testing on animals or we deal with not enough approved testing and medicines getting recalled. So i guess the bigger question is do you support animal testing or no??
