Is it true that if you put vinegar on a bug bite it will go away overnight?

i know if you put the bug in vinegar overnight it won't bite you again.sorry I haven't heard that but it is worth a try since it would virtually be harmless.

I have found eating spicy hot foods makes mosquitoes avoid me. Then when I do get a bite I never scratch it. I poke at it with a finger tip (watch the nail). That way it doesn't break the skin and cause swelling and more itching.
