Regressive Hypnotherapy?

Question:
I have recently been thinking about having regression therepy to uncover some things that may have happened to me as a very young child. 1) Are the results 100% accurate, and 2) Is there an age limit to which a person can be regressed and still be able to describe things which may have happened to them?

Answers:
I had some of that done and it didn't bring out much of anything. I found out on my own what some of my problems were, but not from the regressive hypnotherapy.

It's different for everyone though, so why not give it a try? It can't hurt you, I don't think.

Just be careful you don't get stuck in a hospital setting type situation where they start telling you that you really need to go in to a hospital (so they can soak your insurance) and then put you on a lot of different medications.

That happened to me and they had me so messed up on drugs that their acupuncturist did some things to me while I was drugged up. He admitted to it and got fired, but I went there to get help from already being raped and molested, so that just made it all worse. (I was an adult).

Now I don't trust doctors, even if he was only an acupuncturist, he had on that white doctors coat and I trusted him as a doctor. I was pretty drugged, so I didn't really have a choice to run off or anything.

What was really bad was, after he did that to me, they sent me home without any further counseling because my insurance wouldn't pay for any more hospitalization.

If I had a clear mind then, I would have had him arrested and sued them, but that kind of knocked me down a few pegs so I gave up on trying to get help. I was in worse emotional condition when I came out, than when I volunteered to go in.

So, hypnotherapy is okay, but just be cautious and don't always trust what they're telling you. Get your family invoved like I should have done. Sorry this was so long, but I didn't want you to possibly go through what I did.
Doesn't work. Didn't work for me. I think the way it works is that you start manufacturing what you believe happened whether it ever happened or not. Bogus, really bogus.
