what are the sympltons of a brown recluse spider bite.?

Question:
About a week ago I asked a similar question. Since then I have researched on the web. I would like to share that experience with you. First, I found the perfect answer to the problem of a huge sore that would not heal with antibotics. It also itched and turned black. Ready? This was found on Indian Cures Spider Bite. Old folk remedies.
I am hopeful someone else will try this as I did... Take left over mashed potatoes and place over the wound, after showering, and then place a bandage over it and leave it alone. In 2-3 days it will be healed. I have been having reoccuring bouts with this type of problem since 1978. I went to several doctors, and I tried everything, but mashed potatoes.............I am amased, that it worked. Does anyone know why it did? I had about 24 small red bumps at first.Neosproin didn't heal them, they would just get bigger.I used Tea Tree Oil in my bath most went away. All but 6. Now after the mashed potaote treatment they are gone.Works on scalp too

Answers:
If you are having recurring sores that don't heal, you need to be checked for diabetes.

Raw potato, as well as raw liver, absorb toxins from your body. Native Americans have used raw liver for centuries for snake bites, and raw potato for stomach ailments. Just make sure there is no green in the potato you are eating raw.

Wow, that's really neat. I wonder if it has to do with the starch that is in potatos? Glad you are feeling better.
doesn't sound like a brown recluse bite. after a couple of weeks a broen recluse bite would get really bad (read, gaping hole) and no amount of left over mashed potatoes will help. When i got one, i went to the hospital and antibiotics worked.
Spiders are generally carnivorous and feed only on living prey. They can crush it with processes on the pedipalps, and the chelicerae almost always have glands that can inject a venom. The bite of some large spiders can be painful, but most species are too small to break human skin, and only a few are dangerous to human beings. Dangerous spiders include the black widow and its close relatives, which are non-aggressive and bite human beings only in defence. Their painful bite is followed by faintness, difficulty in breathing, and other symptoms; although the bite is seldom fatal, especially if it is inflicted on healthy adults, medical attention should be sought at once.
