Question:

Towards the end of my period, I get one really bad cramp. Its awful; my legs go numb and I feel like I'm spacing out. I pass a lot of clots when this happens and it signals the end of my period.

Anyone else have that too?

Just wondering.

wow..i've never experienced that...you should go see your gyno and see if she could tell you why this happens and if you can take something to make it stop

I don't. Sorry I don't have advice, just thought I'd say that I didn't and hopefully other girls reply with theirs answers so you can see how common it is.

i usually get a cramp at the end of mine, but everyone is different. i dont think that your legs should go numb. you might want to see a doctor for that.

I have had a bad cramp like that before. Since you are passing blood clots the muscles clench harder to pass the blood clot. This happens every now and to my. My gyno checked me ok. But if this is on the regular, please check with your doctor. Even if it is nothing wrong he/she can give you something to relax your muscle during your period.

Get a check-up! The legs going numb and the spacing out don't sound normal to me.

You should see your gyno. I had this happen once to me and i finally went to the gyno for it. My problem was that i had irregular periods though. I would only have one every 6 to 8 months and then i started having every 2 to 4 days with spotting on a daily basis and then this happened to me while my husband (then boyfriend) where sleeping. We awoke to being soaked in my blood. we thought i was dying. bc i was so weak and numb i couldnt stand and i wasnt bleeding anymore. Found out i had a hormone disorder called polysistic ovaires where my ovaries dont ovulate and my uteris still fills up with blood but doesnt always cleanse it self with a monthly period and my hormones where out of wack . So wether this sounds like any of your issues or not it still could be a sign that you are having hormone problems or oviarian cancer. You should get it checked out right away though bc both are fixable if taken care of in time but are both deadlly if left uncared for for too long.
