varies on what state you in and how severe the problem can be and how long you have had it so it varies--yeah I have it in both hands so I use this voice typing thing sometimes or if I have to type I wear my gloves and when I sleep I wear my splintz but I havent gotten my left hand operated on yet because the right one still hurts and my jobs require alot of typing and computer work
Your in luck. I know of several people that have that. As long as you can justify its cause from work related movements, you should have no problem. They will make it hard for you because they don't like paying for anything not in their budget, but you will eventually succeed.
I used to work for a hand surgeon. Workers' Comp covered it on many people. Some Comp carriers do try to give you a hard time, but once the physician said it is work related, they don't have much of a choice.
Good luck and take care of yourself.
