does anyone know what i could eat or do to rid myself of sinus infections without meds?

Question:
i have post nasal drip with it too which can be really gross waking up with.
has anyone had a problem with chronic sinus infections and found a way to ward them off either by a holistic medicine/herbs they've used or food they ate??
i eat pretty well- organic, preferably raw, etc. i won't take anti-biotics for it.

Answers:
You have to find out WHY your sinuses are infected. Perhaps you are suffering from some allergy like dust mites, house dust, pollen, or more seriously, having a reaction to your dental fillings, ie. specifically silver amalgam type fillings which contain mercury.
See an ENT (ear, nose and throat)specialist.

Other Answers:
I agree with the allergy to dust mites or something environmental. Get some dust mite covers for your mattress and pillows and wash them perhaps once a week in hot water . Otherwise, make sure you dust more often, especially in your bedroom. Perhaps, invest in an air purifier. Make sure if you have a furnace in your house, that you replace the filters in it about once a month. It blows dirt and dust and crap all over in your air when the heat comes on.

Sounds like you also might have a low immune system. Try Echinacea and goldenseal for about 7 to 14 days. (Unless you are allergic to ragweed.)

My mom and grandma swear by apple cider vinegar and water warmed and snort it up your nose 3 times a day for a few days and it cures a sinus infection. Unless you have a nasal bottle you can put some into to mist it up your nose with.

I have gotten rid of several sinus infections without antibiotics, but I never used anything to do it. I just ate extra well (sounds like you are doing that), drank plenty of water and my immune system took over and I got rid of it.

There is "Ocean Spray" which is a saline nasal spray which keeps dust, dirt etc. out of your nasal passages. It works well when you have an infection and works well for a preventative too.

Good luck. www.naturecuredhule.com
