Will Accutane work?

I am a 16 year old male and have moderate acne on my cheeks. Today was my first pill of accutane. How long will it take to completely clear up? How long will i have to continue taking it before i can be accutane and acne free? Will the ance come back later?

it does work. it takes about 2months for your skin to clear. it will get worse first before it gets better. oh and don't drink alcohol.. you feel it much faster! (not that your at the legal age yet, but just in case). your skin will be very dry and you may get dry eyes and chapped lips. stick to one sort of lip ice. DCT is very good. if its summer where you live, remember the sunscreen cause you burn very fast and your skin is very sensitive. i know it sounds bad but its all worth it in the end!! believe me! good luck

it will work, but it will take about a week or so. also, expect extremely chapped lips and itchy skin. you'll have to take it for a while; i'd say a few months. this should clear up your acne for years. good luck!

Accutane is bound to increase the depression, if only slightly. It should work on the complexion, though, for sure. Take it exactly as directed for best results. Don't skip, don't forget.
