Why is my ex on Methadone?
Question:
Answers:
There are two uses for methadone. One is for heroin addicts and the other is for chronic pain patients. However, there are normally several differences.
Chronic pain patients are normally taking low doses fo methadone app. twice a day to three times a day. Their medicine is in pill form and they have it at their house. They will only have a month's supply though.
If the methadone is being used for heroin withdrawal, the dosage is very high. It is normally given in liquid form because heroin addicts will save up the drug and use it to get high. The person has to go in to a clinic 2-3 times a week to get their methadone.
I would seriously doubt that methadone would be used because of a vicodin addiction as methadone is much stronger than vicodin (5/500). In addition, methadone is as addicting as heroin. The theory is that they can titrate the person off the methadone easier than the heroin. If that is his story, then I would talk with my lawyer as warning bells should be going off.
No he is more than likely addicted to Heroin!
