Is there a safe, all natural bug repellent for children?
My 2 year old daughter is being eaten up by mosquitos and I'd like to get something that is natural and won't irritate her sensitive skin.
Thank you!

There are several. If you get a bottle of either citronella essential oil or a lemon eucalyptus essential oil, you can apply a few drops to her on various areas of her skin. Like a perfume, the oil will soak in enough not to bother her or rub off, but the scent will last for quite a while, and mosquitos will cut her a wide berth as long as it does.
That's probably the least invasive way to do it since your daughter won't have to feel like she has a lot of ucky stuff sprayed on her.
If you would like something a bit more thorough, or just want a product made specifically to keep insects off which is natural, there is a product out there based on lemon and eucalyptus oils which has been proven effective at repelling insects for up to six hours, doesn't have the greasy/sticky feel of chemical insect repellants like Off, and which smells very pleasant to humans, known as Repel Lemon Eucalyptus. You can find it online at http://www.repel.com/ProductCategories/Insectrepellents/LemonEucalyptus.
Quantum Health also makes a line of natural insect repellents called "Buzz Away", which I've used in the past and has been very pleasant and effective. You can find out more about it at quantumhealth.com.
They also make citronella scented wristbands which are also effective, and which are pretty easy to find. In fact, I saw some the other day by the register as I was checking out through Wal-Mart's garden department. No applying anything to the child. Just have her wear her pretty bracelet out to play, and the insects will stay away. The one downside is that since you have to replace the wristband, they can get expensive, though at least one company has developed a way to store the wristband in between uses so that all 120 hours of its useful life are, well, useful. You can find their entire line of products from the wristbands insect repellent wipes to sprays at talonindustrial.com.
Beyond that, you could literally landscape your yard so insects will flee from it like it's a sinking ship, on fire, being bombed on a continual basis, while oozing toxic waste.
Insects cannot stand the scent of either geraniums or marigolds, especially marigolds, and mosquitos won't go anywhere near them (and at least with marigolds you don't have to be so worried about the little one plucking off a flower and eating it, since marigolds are edible). You could also plant citronella itself. It is a very pretty plant with showy silvery leaves, smells lovely, and is easy to grow. When I re-landscaped my grandmother's front yard, I planted alternating rows of marigolds and citronella plants around her porch, because mosquitos liked to eat her alive, too. and from that day on she could sit outside and enjoy the evening air all she wanted without having to worry about the mosquitos, having to use insect spray, her clothes stinking, that bath she used to have to take as soon as she got inside, etc, and could truly just enjoy her yard. so that might be a way to go, too.
There are all sorts of things you can do which humans love and mosquitos hate. Don't let the little bloodsuckers get you down!

I think Burt's Bees Wax makes one! You can get it at herb/vitamin stores, or health food stores. Or you can ask a clerk at a herb/vitamin store!
Whats a quick nursing career ?
Gasoline mixed with Raid work really well.Besides Skin So Soft, you might try growing a citronella plant around where they play.
Why is marijuana illegal but alcohol is not?
There are several good natural repellants in any natural food store, and some also have sunscreen. You can make your own using an oil like olive with essential oils like geranium, lemon grass, etc. Citronella may not work, pennyroyal should not be used for children. NO SUGAR! The mosquitoes love it!Garlic and B vitamins (or brewers yeast) can be eaten so that you/she don't taste good to the critters.
citronella oil.... a natural oil.
