Is there anyone who is aware of any treatment in alternate medicine for kidney failure?
Answers:
Niacin is vitamin B3 or nicotinic acid. It is used as a drug (also called Niaspan, I believe) to help elevate low HDL levels (the good cholesterol). It also has a small effect at lowering LDL levels (the bad cholesterol). In high doses, it can cause some flushing...red blotches on your body.
