my son of 10 yrs. got his eyesight weak,he is having -1.75 in both eyes with 6/6 vision, how 2 get rid of this?

Question:

Answers:
Your son has vision correctable to 6/6. Without his spectacles on I can guarantee he does not reach those standards.
The only way to ´get rid of this´ is with surgery, as there are no exercises to make this lessen.
With surgery, however, he should wait until he is around 21 at the earliest and has had a stable prescription, ie no changes, for at least two years. If you do it any earlier, or whilst the prescription is changing, then it will be a waste of money as it only corrects the resultant problem and not the underlying cause. This means he could end up needing spectacles soon after surgery again.
-1.75 is still a low prescription, do not feel concerned about it. Encourage him to wear his spectacles and never let him think that you are upset about his prescription. Kids are sensitive, they need to know you still love them whatever happens. Undoubtedly as a good parent you already knew that part. ;o)
oh :( id talk to a specialist or look up on-line lasic/laser vision surgery. it may be the only way, sounds like he may even go blind but im not a specialist. id make an appointment to talk to an eye doctor or call one right away.
hope everything turns out well
