Answers:
It will depend on how low your function is. Have you tried iodine? Iodine is essential in allowing your thyroid components to be docked at the receptor sites. There are several forms but I know that Iodorol from Opitmox Corporation and Dulse liquid from Natures Sunshine have both been effective for many people, including myself. If you need thyroid supplementation, you should request dessicated thyroid, Amor is the manufacturer. It is the actual bovine thyroid. Doctors say they don't know how much you actually get, but your body is able to use all of it and it is the entire thyroid component. Synthroid is only a synthetic piece that the body does not like and has a difficult time processing and using, not to mention the junk it leaves behind that the body has to try to eliminate. Good Luck. I work with a Naturopathic Doctor that specializes in thyroid and adrenal disorders. If you would like more specific information, contact me.

snoring, please help?

I see a Naturopath (you should find yourself one) and she's put me on a supplement called Thyroid Plus. It seems to be working well. A Naturopath can help you find natural supplements to pretty much substitute for most medications. I'm also on a supplement called 5HTP, which is a great substitute for antidepressants. That too seems to be working great! Good Luck!

how beneficial is calcium bentonite and where is the best one to buy located?

why did they remove my question about eating my own balls?

One of the best things to do is to remove the "four horseman" of the metabolic "apocalpyse" we are facing: wheat, dairy, corn and soy. These immunsuppresive, endocrine-suppressors are a huge liability when suffering from low thyroid. Sometimes it is what we do not do, that heals us. Look into taking kelp, coconut oil, l-tyrosine, b-complex, vitamin c(not ascorbic acid, but whole food sources), and perhaps look for a specialist in bio-identical hormone replacement and testing.
