Answers:
The prescription shampoo they are talking about, Lindane is very toxic to little ones. I'd definately try other alternatives. The face cleanser, Cetaphil has been shown recently to smother the buggers. Buy a bottle of it, and apply to DRY hair. Cover all hair and scalp COMPLETELY leave on a couple hours - the longer the better - overnight? Super. Its non-toxic so it won't hurt your child unless the little person is sensitive to the ingredients in the product itself.

Applying water to the hair/scalp beforehand allows the lice to curl up and 'defend' themselves from water and any subsequent applications of substances you use to try to kill them.

And remember, still pick out the eggs, over and over and over as long as you can and as many as you can possibly see. That is the key to prevent re-infestation.

Good Luck!

You should look into to her daycare or preschool and see if that is the reason she keeps getting them. Maybe a change of school will help.

recipe for herbal sunscreen?

When I had lice my mom had to go to the doctors. They gave us prescription medicine to get rid of them. Seems to have worked well. Also wash all of your bedding because if you don't then the lice will still be around. You have wash them in very hot water to kill them. My mom also washed all of our play close and use a shop vacuum to clean the sofa. Good luck.

How do I treat a plantar's wart at home?

I'm with Jenny on this. As much as I love natural medicine, I'd take her to the doctor and get it over with once and for all.

No, hairspray won't prevent reinfestation.
