Massage therapists-I need some advice!?

Question:
I just recently started massage school, it's been a little over a week and we just started touching each other yesterday. The first person I started with was a very large girl and she was very sweaty and was emitting a very unpleasant body odor. I didn't realize how sensitive I would be to it. It actually almost made me sick. I'm just afraid now that I'm not going to be able to handle these sort of things and I know that I'll be dealing with people releasing toxins and body odors...should I quit now or will it stop bothering me after a while? I'm also concerned with elderly people, and getting squeamish...I'm also a little uncomfortable with the touching of the buttock area. These were all things I was aware of going into it, but now it's real and I didn't know how strongly I would respond. Any advice? I just want to know if this is natural and will go away after a while or if I'm just not cut out for it...please share any experience or advice. E-mail me if you'd like to! Thanks!

I am a student in Sister Rosalind Gefre School of Massage, I almost done and at firts I was very nervous to work on people but now I feel comfortable, what u need to do is really think about , take your time and see if this is really your calling or not. You have to see the client as a person that is coming to you for help to ease its pain, don't look at them as something that you have to do, but something that u want to do. Just know that u can make a difference in that persons life, concentrate on making that person feel better, if that does not help then I would say to considerate.
Some therapists provide a shower area for one to use before the massage. But it sounds as though body odor isn't the only thing that bothers you about this sort of work. Better reconsider.
