what do you mean by "types"? however i can tell you that different microorganisms can be transmitted differently. we have food born and water born such as "salmonella typhi" that causes typhoid fever. air born such as tuberculosis. there is also sexually transmitted diseases such as gonnorhea. and several other types of transmission also exists...
