Question:
Answers:
(Urtica dioica) Leaves or root of the stinging nettle bush.
For hay fever, look for capsules of freeze-dried stinging nettle leaves.
Dosage for ADULTS: One to two capsules every two to four hours as needed.
From conventional drugs, there is a non-prescription drug cromolyn sodium (Nasalcrom Nasal Solution). It works and is nontoxic.
Nasal douching with a warm saline solution helps by rinsing pollen grains off nasal tissues and soothes irritated mucus membranes.
A person's immune system can be weakened by other factors, and lifestyle changes can make you less vulnerable to allergies:
-Limit animal protein. Excessive protein, especially from cows, can irritate the immune system and keep it in a state of overreactivity.
-Take steps to reduce stress
-Eliminate dust catchers, such as carpets, feather pillows, venetian blinds. Wash curtains and bedding often. Always "wet" dust.
-Use HEPA filters in the home.

I used to have sever hayfever symptoms and I found two things that have worked for me.
I tried Bowen Therapy which is amazing! Completely natural and effective in treating a range of ailments.
I also had desensitisation injections every three weeks or so for nine sessions. It's supposed to be over three years but after the first year I noticed a real difference. They are tiny injections 0.1 ml so not so painful!
lokk at the infromation on my page. It may be of some help to you.
Have you been to an allergist to find out exactly what you're allergic to? Sometimes this can help. You'd be better able to avoid or plan for exposure to these triggers. Also, if no over the counter medecine is helping, you might need a prescription one or allergy shots. These can really help. There are some good prescription nose sprays and eye drops that I've found helpful. Nasonex is a good nose spray.
