Is acupuncture an evidence-based therapy?

Does it rely on already proven science or not? Can it be considered as placebo?

What is the active ingredient that makes pills disolve ? ? ?

There is little evidence for it, but more than for most other forms of so called alternative medicine. (aka SCAM)

In some people there is an effect from both regular acupuncture and sham acupuncture...so much for all those meridians and chakra points. There is a "gate theory" explanation for how it might work.

The thing with all SCAM....if they actually worked, all doctors would adopt them and they would no longer be "alternative"

Which country has the least cases of Alzheimer's? I believe that a combination of lifestyle, diets that?
