My Mom who is in her 70's swears that the hematite is helping her, she had no other choice when she was told she could not take glucosamine, etc. I think it depends on the person.some people it helps and others it doesn't.

Many report the great affects of magnets.and true hematite will stick to a magnet. The imitation does not.

It does seem to have positive effects for a lot of people, and I don't think you would get a large enough quantity close enough to affect your computer. I would keep it away from cassette tapes tho just in case. I also know that I can't wear it because it can affect my pacemaker!
