Is the use of magnets considered conventional medicine or complementary and alternative medicine?

Question:

Answers:
Oh gawd. this has been a bit of provincial medicine for generations.

There are good reports, especially in dealing with muscles and localized pain.

who knows?

Other Answers:
"Alternative medicine" at best. There is too much scientifc evidence that "magnet therapy" doesn't work for conventional medicine to even bother with it. It is dismissed altogether.
Alternative medicine is the good option.

You call it anything, it will not change its' property. If about 75% of the diseases are treated without medicines i feel that medicines are the alternatves and not the systems treating them!

It is considered an alternative medicine. Yes, magnets are used in mainstream medicine (think MRI) but if you're talking about braclets, shoe inserts or magnetic mattress pads, you're firmly in "alternative" territory.

Best wishes.
alternative
I think it is a load of crap and a waste of hard earned money.
