What's a good way to clear sinuses?
Question:

Yes, it isn't helping it.
Go buy a bulb syringe--where you buy baby stuff. Combine a 1/4 tsp. of salt in warm water. When it has cooled slightly, put some of the salt water in the bulb and (standing over the sink or toilet)..shoot it up one nostril. It is going to clear out SO much of all that nasty, infected mucus. You do have to cough it up and out as it drains out of the sinus. Repeat with the other nostril. Only do this once a week till it's all gone. One time might just get rid of it all. Doing it more than that will damage the sinus lining. No drugs and boy, is he going to feel a LOT better.
I always use a heater.
Steam is the best to open sinuses. Also, if you take some hot water and put about 10 drops of Tabasco sauce in it and sip it. Really, it's not as bad as it sounds! The heater might have kicked up some dust which could be irritating.
strong peppermint helps too.
I use a Netti pot for any sinus or nasal stuffiness. You use it sort of like the bulb syringe- as explained by another answer- but this pot is used to pour sea salt and water solution through the nose.

This link can explain a bit better. I have never suffered symptoms for more than 2 days. This is all natural, and works wonders for allergy sufferers too as it rinses all the allergens out of nasal passages! Good luck!
i know it may seem silly but try a very spicy salsa, it always opens me up!
all of the above plus a good snort of goldenseal powder;
horseradish under the nose;
rubbing menthol on the affected area ("Migrastick" works well)
