how benificial is the all natural cholesterol lowering alternative cholestasys?

what are the nursing considerations of citicoline?

Answers:
im not familiar with it but im willing to bet probably not much if any. if you wanna do it a "natural" way excercise and eat low cholesterol foods (eggs, dairy products that arent low fat, and meats have a lot of it), "natural" stuff is no more natural to your body than pills from a lab

to my knowledge the best natural product (and only natural product that has actually been shown to work in clinical studies) to for cholesterol is fish oil, and that can help lower it maybe 10% or so. statins like zocor and lipitor are 20-40% for most peoplewith high cholesterol, and it can usually be lowered around 10-40% by eating a diet rich in whole grains and low in cholesterol and exercising regularly.

anyway, my point is lifestyle changes are much more effective than supplements, and if that isnt cutting it, a prescription might be neccesary as supplements arent very powerful
