Answers:
Be more active. If you fill your day with other things to do.you don't obsess or have extra time to deal with your addiction. It helped me quit smoking after a 10 year, pack-a-day bad habit. Meth and some pills are much more addictive. It may take professional help.

Other Answers:
Get out of there.

If someone has an addiction to something such as meth or other serious drugs, it will take time and and professional help to kick the habit or a 60 day stint in jail.

Pray and go to church. Narcotics Anonymous replaces pills and speed. Physical addiction can be whipped in a relatively short period of time. You must treat the mental and spiritual* parts of the problem.

*"spiritual" does not necessarily mean religious

reformed drunk

Only by giving that problem to God and do not take it back , it works. it the only way. go see a doctor for a possible mood disorder. Many people who use meth for example have depression or attention deficit disorder. Adderal (prescription amphetamine) is used to treat ADD and in some forms depression in conjunction with other meds. It could take the place of meth. So could other prescription drugs. you have to be willing to try different types or combinations to find out. the key is..do something.

You need to develop a regimen for "knocking that taste for the dope ( which has become as phlegm-a gummy substance ) out the mouth" You must rinse thoroughly at the faucet for around 3-5mins. First thing in the morning and all throughout your cravings in the day.
Secondly, develop a taste for the simpler and more manageable substance of cannabis sativa.more so than the indica because the sativa will help allay the physical discomfort, either one, as you should know will bring on the euphoric sense we all enjoy, to certain extents.Marijuana can assist you in stepping down and away from it all.
However, the "euphoria" or high should be understood as a "wellness-period" or therapy via THC ingestion, thus, medicating.
Need to replace one Jones for another.
One that heals.
'Ya know ?
Just talk to a physician who recommends Marijuana they might concur.
Peace.

Get into detox.
