How can I use gingko leaves and/or fruit?

Question:
I remember when I was in New Zealand being told of the benefits of Gingko. I also see gingko products on Health Food shelves. Korea is laden with lovely, huge Gingko trees, and now they are dropping small green fruit that look like small plums. Can I do anything with any part of the Gingko tree for health or beauty?

Answers:
My mom use to make soup out of gingko nuts. Actually its quite tasty. You can easily find gingko nuts at asian food marts here in the states.

Other Answers:
I only know that gingko was the only plant that the dinosaurs did not eat and that they had been used to improve people's memories, but I'am not sure from what is coming this pill from, gingko biloba is the pill.
