Drink the juice of green olives No joke
Try something warm 1st and if that doesn't help go with iced drinks.
Gaggle with salt water and blow your nose. Just in case it's post nasal drip.
Try gargling with some warm salt water, and spray your throat with some medicated sprays from the drug store, I cant think of the name of it right now, but it will numb it. Drink alot of liquids.
drink Throat Coat tea, or if you don't have any of that, try tea with honey. If that doesn't work, try a decongestant. Sometime post-nasal drip can irritate your throat. If that doesn't work, try chain smoking. Once you recover from that your throat will feel great comparatively. Just kidding, don't do that last suggestion.:)
One table spoon of salt, one table spoon of baking soda, 10 drops of iodine - put it all in a glass of warm water and rinse your throat - do not swallow! spit it out! this should get you straignt! Get well soon!:)

What Are the Symptoms of SBS?
Building occupants complain of symptoms associated with acute discomfort.
These symptoms include headaches; eye, nose, and throat irritation; a dry cough;
dry or itchy skin; dizziness and nausea; difficulty in concentrating; fatigue;
and sensitivity to odors. With SBS, no clinically defined disease or specific
chemical or biological contaminant can be determined as the cause of the symptoms.
Most of the complainants feel relief soon after leaving the building.

SBS reduces worker productivity and may also increase absenteeism.
try lozanges?

i also use TCM pei pa kao (fruit of the pi-pa) that is infused with honey and comes in a thick, syrup.

Lubricate your throat with water, best warm. It may make your throat dry, but it actually is more helpful than cold water.
