my 9 year old has about 12-15 warts on his little hands, including one right in the pakm. I don't know what to do. I was told he was too young for wart remover, I was told of a duct tape remedy, which, when he sweats, the tape comes off.

i wouldn't recommend freezing them. i had mine frozen 3times and it's still there.
some doctors recommend using over-the-counter salicylic acid to treat them. Same application as the duct tape. I actually taped the salicylic acid patch to it and duct taped it down.
operation would be the last resort to get them out.. Sometimes, these warts go off by themselves because the body's own immune system fights the virus off..

He needs to see a dermotologist. My nephew had the same problem and at the same age. It is a virus. He had to use a RX creme daily. It did the trick.If his doctor says he is too young, I would seek a second opinion. Then, if they say he is too young, I would wait. If someone else is telling you he is too young, go see your doctor. With that many warts on his little hands, he is better off having them professionally cared for.
