toenail fungus.any cures that actually work?
Answers:
You can still continue to use ice 15-20 min every 3-4 hours if you have some swelling. Keep the area elevated as well. See your doctor if the area does not seem to be improving reasonably well.
* You dont state why you have inflammation, is it a small contusion/bruise, or post surgery/major injury? some things just take a whole lot longer to heal...
I had surgery 3 months ago & I am still using ice 2x a day.
a minor injury like a sprained ankle may still be swollen for 5-6 days, and that's "normal" but keep it iced , elevated, rest it, maybe use an ace bandage for some mild compression...
but see a doctor if you havent for sure...
