Waht is the best way to..?
Question:
Answers:
It depends on the source of the headache and the reason for it. Someone else suggested massaging the temples, and that can work on the neurovascular points located in the parietal lobes, which can bring on headaches. Another source of headaches stems from a pair of muscles located in the back of your neck, just below your skull. These are the rectus capitis posterior majors. Cramping of these muscles can lead to restriction of neurovascular fluid from the spinal cord into the brain via the foramen magnum. Relief of this cramping can be achieved by placing your index finger and thumb on opposing sides of your spine, just below your skull, and gently, but firmly, pulling upward toward the top of your head. Adjust the tension and depth of pressure upon these muscles until you feel them release. This will ease the constriction of fluid and relieve some forms of headache.
FYI--if you can talk someone else into doing this for you, they can get a btter grip that you can with your own hands.and it will feel even better!
Gently massage your temples or put a cold rag on your head.
take a couple of ibeprofen and lie down
shoot yourself in the foot it will hurt so bad you will forget about the headache
Massage therapy or chiropractor.
