ambien should be used for 7 days MAX at a time. it should not be used to get to sleep every day. it should be used to get your body used to a normal sleep cycle again. by the time 7 days is up, your body should be acclimated to a normal slee pcycle again and you shouldnt need the medication. however, if you keep using it and using it over and over your body will become used to having the drug there to help you sleep, and will become reliant on it. it should really be used sparingly and only if really necessary.

I took it for a brief time before the latest "improvement" and, as I recall, it's not addictive. It didn't keep me asleep all night. Their improvement was to make it last longer so it will help you sleep all night long. I have been on ambien for years since 1995. Yes its very addictive. It works so good that you just want one every night get good sleep.
Its is sooo inportant to know that when you take ambien it work with memory. So If you do take it. Take while your in bed. Dont get up start doing something. Dont do any important things, talk on phone.
The next morning you wont remember anything. I have woke up naked didnt remember I had sex with my husband, I ordered things on line. Didnt know tell they were delivered. Talked to people next day said you told me this last night. Dont cook or Drive. You think your awake and totaly alert but you are not.
I have learned this all the hard way.
I called my mother in law once in middle of night never remember that at all.
I have went to sleep clinic to get off it. I dont sleep well and get bad head aches if I dont take it.
