Does this really work or what. . .?


Question:
Alright I posted my concerns at another forum asking for a quick solution to a quick weight loss. But I will recap so if you have anything else that might work.

My situation is I realize this is not going to be a permenant fix, I am just looking for something that can make me look and feel better for this weekend event that I am going to. I have started to cut back on my eating "bad food" and working out. I just need that extra boost, for this weekend. I sound like a teenager but I wanna impress this guy! :-)

Well a poster said something about chinese oolong tea, that she lost 6 pounds in 5 days, so I am wondering does this work? Is that all that I need to take for the 5 days or what?

Also I am also wanting other thoughts to other methods that could possibly work.

Please nothing rude, because like I said I realize this is not a permenant fix just something to help me feel and look better for the weekend.

Hello person who would like to lose weight quickly or if anything feel slim in your cloths. I can understand that. Sometimes that feeling of being light makes you feel like you look your best. The most effective way to do this is to drink water, eat foods that are high in protein and low in carbs and excercise. High protein diets have been shown to be effective in quick weight loss, but they are difficult to maintain. I would recommend no carbs (be careful of veggies such as corn or beans), no high sugar foods (this includes fruits) and maintain your calorie intake of low carbs between 1200 and 1400 a day. Low calorie can set you back because your body thinks you are starving. It won't be difficult because meat is typically high calorie for the serving size. Also, drinking enough water to help your body flush out toxins is important. It can be dangerous using the teas that help with weight loss, so I would not try those now especially since you have a specific time frame to lose in. You don't want to make yourself sick in this process. Also, if you find it difficult to do a no carb diet, do a low carb one where you are eating high fiber in the morning and reducing your carb intake by your evening meal and stop eating after 7pm. Drinking teas such as chamomile in the evening to help with stress and green tea in the morning to help with energy. Also, drinking coffee without the cream and using a no calorie sweetner helps to boost your metabolism. All these things can help. Good luck to you.. and then after this event to maintain your weight loss, again stick to caloires of 1200-1400 and excericise and high fiber and low carb can be quite successful.

Sudafed, the cold medicine. It will supress your appitite and give you energy. If you like coffee drink that to, black though. No cream or sugar. Let people say what they want I bet almost every woman has done this at least once in thier life. Good luck.
I lost 1kg by using this method off the TV show. Tried for only 1 week without any exercise.

Eat the fattest part of the meat (especially the fats and skin) and vegetables.

Most important thing to bear in mind is these:
Cannot eat things with sugar contain: eg apple, orange, cakes, candy, juices, banana, chocolate etc
Cannot eat things with carbohydrates: eg bread, biscuit, pizza, flour, rice, potato, yam etc.

Do not touch the above when you are under the programme. You will definitely lost weight. But try this only 1 or 2 weeks in a month. Go on regular meal on other months. And return to it if you want to. You still need nutrient from other food and fruits.

Personally I do not think oolong tea will slim you down. But beware that if you constantly drink strong oolong tea its going to stain your teeth yellowish.
Eat whey for protein. Take calcium/magnesium. Calcium has been shown to speed weight loss. Coconut oil will increases metabolism and burns right off. Fish oil also increases metabolism. High fiber foods control blood sugar fluctuations. Eating a good breakfast gets metabolism going. During this week don't eat anything after three o'clock unless it's lettuce with no dressing. Exercise in the morning is more effective than in the evening. Do deep breathing and stretches throughout the day to prevent cortisol buildup. This will help you lose fat in you abdomen. Fidgeting burns a lot of calories. Tap your feet and drum your fingers at your desk. Contrary to what they used to believe, weighing yourself everyday will help you lose weight because if you go up in weight one day you can see that you need to compensate the next day. Most over weight people don't eat more than slim people, they just don't move as much. I guess they are calmer people. So start fidgeting lol.
Anything that dumps weight that far will have you in the bathroom, be careful what you use.
