Answers:
Plaque is your body's response to damage to your arteries. It's doing a repair job.

Ask yourself 'what causes the inflammation that caused the damage that caused the plaque to develop?'.

There are other causes of inflammation such as oxidants, periodontal disease and stomach fat, but the most common cause is abrupt increases in blood sugar. High blood sugar damages your arteries. It causes 'brush burns' to occur in them and your body reacts to repair them. This high blood sugar is also well known for damaging the eyes, kidneys and nerve cells.

Even though you may not be diabetic, the high doses of sugar that hit our bloodstream regularly will still cause damage before our insulin levels can rise to force the utilization of the sugar.

High levels of sugar and starch in our diet are the leading cause of heart disease and diabetes and all of their associated ailments.

Reduce (preferably eliminate) sugars and starches from your diet. You will eliminate the cause of the inflammation and will, in time, reverse its effects.

Take 400iu of Natural vitamin E daily. This will help reduce oxidants, inflammation, and improve blood flow.
