Would you give a full body massage. a hand massage or no massage at all to someone who has an undiagnosed lump
Question:

There is no risk to you as the therapist. The issue is could manipulating the lump.if it turns out to be a cancerous tumor.spread the cancer cells to other parts of the client's body? While not likely, the potential is there.
So it depends on the lump. Many adults have little fatty "tumors" under the skin. Those are totally benign and easy to identify once you know what to look for. But any other lumps should be identified before massaging. You can massage "around" the lump.just not the lump itself.
Where is the lump? I don't see why it would hurt to give them a massage.it's not like it's going to spread.
Yah.
if it is an attracive female, a full body massage, but avoid the lump..unless there are two of them on her chest
I heard it's not a good idea If they have cancer. You might check the web or your instructor for more information.
NO! You don't know if massaging this person could harm them! They need to get in to see their doctor.
dependiong on where the lump is yes you can get or give a full body masssage because it is notgoing to spread, but you will need to have the undiagnosed lump inspected and diagnosed. have fun
i would give no massage at all untill client had been to see a doctor and came back with a note from a doctor saying it was ok i would not think you were allowed to massage a client with cancer
I might stay away from the lump if it is painful for them but if you are concerned about cancer or something then it can't spread by touching the skin and a full-body massage would be fine.
